FastOrange® B Ready-to-Use Tubes

PIKA FastOrange® B Ready to Use Tubes with swabs are used for swab testing to determine and monitor the hygiene status in the production and the production periphery.

Swab any surface and incubate the swab at ambient temperature in one of the delivered tubes with broth. The typical beer spoilers Lactobacillus and Pediococcus as well as the anaerobic bacteria Megasphaera and Pectinatus show up in the enrichment by a color change. Other indicator bacteria including E. coli and coliforms are detected by turbidity and sediment formation.
